I'm Back!

Did you miss me? Probably not because you haven't heard from me in over 7 years!! I know it might seem odd for me to pick this blog back up now but better late than never, right? But honestly, life just got busy with 3 kids and many irons in the fire. Recently, I've felt led to start posting again at Recipes for Moms so here we go!

I plan to post recipes like I always have but also give you my weekly menu and any other tips & tricks I can think of. Hopefully, this will give you a little help each week if you are a weekly or monthly menu planner. And if you're not a menu planner then maybe this will help inspire you because when families meal plan they often spend less money on food, eat healthier and have more time together.

If you're new to Recipes for Moms, let me introduce myself. My name is Stacy and my husband & I have been married for 18 years. We have 3 school-age kids that are involved in sports, music, 4-H and church. As a family we like to camp, hike, watch movies, play in the river and generally enjoy the beautiful area of Southwest Colorado that we call home. So needless to say, we're busy! If you want to know more details about me and this blog, you can check out my introduction post.

My food philosophy is simple and it's this - Everything in Moderation. While keeping ourselves and our families healthy certainly requires us to lean into healthy foods and away from unnecessary sugars & fats, I think it's okay to enjoy the foods we love (you know, the guilty pleasures) from time to time. My diet is neither paleo, vegetarian, vegan, keto, gluten-free, dairy-free (we eat way too much cheese), whole 30 or any other specific food plan although you will find recipes here that can meet many of these needs.

I hope you'll follow along with me here on the blog as well as on Facebook and Instagram
Feel free to leave a comment if you have any questions. Otherwise...here we go!!
